Thank God for friends who know the law

*LOL* I've never had any experience with renting from an asshole. So...I found out thru Melly that I don't have to be out of here until 30 days AFTER he gives me a WRITTEN eviction notice, and he can't give me that until I've not paid rent for at least 30 DAYS! Good grief how could I be so stupid? That took a TON of stress off this situation. So I called my friend in TN and told her I'd be down a little later than I thought since I have more time to get all this done. She ALSO told me that since the septic tank got full and flooded our basement from the toilets overflowing and ruined a LOT of my memory stuff and other important stuff I can sue him for THAT. HMPH! She said she'll try to come down Saturday and help me out with all this. :) Bless her heart, I do so love that girl! I'm stupid when it comes to working the system....she knows exactly how to do it. All the landlord has done so far is say verbally "If there's no rent paid by the 30th, start packing."
So he still has to give me a WRITTEN EVICTION notice for it all to be legal. *whew* and a big *breath of relief*
