Good lord have mercy! I'm a nervous wreck but I'm home with son in tow. All animals are well and accounted for (although a couple messes to clean up, my bad). I had a grand time in Florida, but I admit I'm glad to be home...I missed my kid. (damn kids!) We watched a lot of really good movies I would have otherwise never seen probably (don't do the movie thing too much but my mind is changing on that one...it's good, cheap entertainment, you just have to look hard and ask around for good ones), w/lots of cuddles and snuggles included. :) We also went to St. Augustine...that was too cool! The drive there was almost as much fun as actually being in the town. I got Noah a cool tee shirt and a shot glass (he collects them...have no idea as to why *LOL*) for souveniers...he loved both, they both had a pirate theme. :) We went out to eat at various places every night but one. And the rest was just hangin' out havin' fun at the house. :) Florida didn't agree with my fibromyalgia or my arthritis OR my allergies...but maybe that was stress. *shrug* Not that my stress has been lessened any since getting back...I arrived at O'Hare two flights BEFORE MY FUCKING LUGGAGE DID! I was sooooo pissed. I'd been either sitting in an airport or on one plane or another for toooo long...all I wanted was to go home. So we got back to Melly's late, smoke a couple cigs and went to bed. I ran out of clonipin while down there and didn't sleep a wink...finally got up and took a melatonin, which helped a little...I slept very fitfully til a little after 10am. Felt like run over crap most of the day 'til I got some food in me, and took a bit of a nap. Then the drive home tonight in POURING rain...now I'm home and all is well except my nerves. :)
Hope everyone had a great new year! I hope everyone HAS a great new year! Love y'all!
*out*
Edit: I almost forgot! We also went to the zoo and I saw animals I never even heard of before! Everything is BIG in Florida...kinda like Texas that way I guess..maybe the warm air makes everything in the south bigger. ALLIGATORS are the BOMB! They're HUMONGOUS! I had NO idea they were so big! Oh, and I mustn't forget the tapir we nicknamed "Fifth Leg" because um...well...he just wouldn't put that thing away and it was as long as he was and it literally looked like another appendage...only it belonged on the INSIDE not the OUTSIDE! *LMAO*
