Wait. New York Fashion Week starts today? But there are still six designers left on Project Runway. By now (or by the next episode) there should only be four, so that when the three designers + the decoy present their lines, nothing has been spoiled. Anybody have any info on what is up with this? Do you think this means they'll cut two people

I think they are going to streeeeetch out this season as much as possible so that they present for Fashion Week in the spring (which would be fall fashions, yes?). I don't see how they could possibly cram everything in before THIS fashion week. We still have to go to the designers' houses and soften up the villains, also we have to do the reunion special and find out that Chris March wins $10 000 for being my favorite.

Wait. But I know this season was shot during the summer. If they don't show until Spring, that would give them wayyyy too much time to work on their lines. Close to six months?

They usually have four designers left on the show by this time. Then Fashion Week happens in real life, and four designers show, one being a decoy (except for last season.) Then they air the last elimination show, then the reunion show, and then a two-part finale. That gives them at least a week to edit the reunion show, since the reunion actually occurs during Fashion Week (they have longer if they throw another rerun in there).

good points. I just don't know. I feel like they screwed it up by taking this week off and taking off that week at the end of December.
