Cravin' some Renaissance fair!

This morning was absolutely beautiful.  The indirect sunlight streaming through my window, the coolness of my apartment and the freshness of the air tricked me into thinking it was fall.  I felt so cozy.  I even made a grilled cheese, turkey and apple sandwich and drank hot cinnamon apple spice tea.  Apples are another element that trick me into thinking autumn has rolled around.  All these senses combined made me really want to go to a Renaissance festival for some reason.

I was quickly disappointed, then, when I walked outside to go to the lab and it was quite hot.  Studying anatomy for hours on end also helped put me out of the mood.

On a positive note, I'm starting to feel much more confident with the horse forelimb.  Actually, in a way all the tendons and ligaments seem easier to learn than those of the dog, because the horse just has one metacarpal and one finger!  If only dogs had hooves....
