Orientation has been so long and drawn out. Shit, man! Then tonight they had a ceremony and gave us our little wanna-be doctor coats (they're light blue). It took like an hour to call everyone's name, have them walk up there, sign an oath, and get their coat. Sheesh...what a load of crap. I'm not a fan of ceremonies....there are so many better uses of time.
On a positive note, the faculty seem pretty nice. The school counselor is wonderful! I love her...she's all shy and super-sweet. Jen, if you read this, you need to come do an internship here or something. You would not only help maniacal vet students, but provide grief counseling for people who lost their pets....think of all the cute old people you'd see! And of course I could come talk to you every single day and we could live together and make babies until we're 90.
Speaking of faculty, one of my professors reminds me of Saruman (you know...from Lord of the Rings?) Check it out...make the comparison yourself:

Evil Wizard:
Don't you think? Maybe with a wig and a longer beard? I was mildly disappointed he didn't have a deep and ominous voice or subtly viscious personality.
Classes start tomorrow!
