"There's nothing like the deep breaths after laughing that hard. Nothing in the world like a sore stomach for the right reasons.":
*OMG* If the next six weeks are anything like the last three days I'll for sure need a break from the break *laughs* Still it's fun and strangely enough it feels good to be in an office again and able to work. Never thought I'd say that one day *scratcheshead*...
People there are still as nice as when I started, everybody is quite at ease and joking even when there's stress.
"You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand.":
Yesterday I went to the court house in Moers with the chief-lawyer of our office (he's only 35 *blinks*) where he had to attend a trial. Criminal law/ extortionate robbery. Three youngsters hit 8 (!!!) gas stations. Trial started at 9:00 a.m. and was finished at 6:30 p.m. It was really interesting but no fun at all, I can tell you.
Today was more relaxed after a short trip to the court house in Oberhausen I went back to the office and stayed there until 5:30 p.m.
"Things change. And friends leave. And life doesn't stop for anybody.":
Still somehow I already miss Uni (esp. the people). *sighs* I should really make up my mind and decide whether I want to write that essay or not... Well yeah I was quite sure about it during the term, but that was back when my best friend and I had planend on doing some of the work for the essay together. Now he doesn't answer my text messages, leaves ICQ as soon as I'm online and I don't know why :-(... Anyway I think I'll write that essay on my own then, cause I really enjoy criminal law at the moment *gg*
Second there's David who didn't even respond to my birthday message for him... I don't get it, seems like everytime there's a break at Uni people tend to forget each other, not calling until a few days before the term starts again and they're all back. *shakeshead* I would so love to talk to someone who has the same background knowledge as me about, for example, yesterdays trial which really left me thoughtful, but as it seems no one's there. :-/
I still remember them saying things like "we have to meet during the break" etc. empty words...
Anyway I think I'm gonna go with the fraggles here: "Don't cry over spilt milk." ;-)
Tomorrow's gonna be a short day at work, cause there's only one trial to attend in Essen and Silke told me I don't have to come to the office afterwards... Might be a good chance to drive to Bochum and at least visit the library *smiles*
