*squee* I just booked my one week short trip/holiday for 2007 *gg* It's in August, the very beginning of the month *smiles* Now what can it be? Of course Hiza summer ski jumping contest. This time it will be one week not only three days, which makes me sooo happy. Pretty sure that I'm gonna have a fantastic time. =)
Last night Take That were on german telly for the first time in 10 years, in fact it was their first appearance as a band in Germany after 10 years. They did two songs: the new single "Patience" and of course "Never forget". It was awesome to see them perform again, after all the rumors and news we got from England this finally made it all real and believable.
The guys looked happy to be back on stage again (if you ask me this is where they belong, you could see it in their faces, simply amazing). There was so much energy esp. from Mark it seemed like he was about to burst, smiling all the time, tapping his feet, joking with Gary.
Gaz seemed a bit nervous during "Patience", but never the less was as pro as always *g*, well a bit more at ease then he used to be.
Howard, my oh my where did he get that voice from? Don't get me wrong I always liked his singing and stuff but his voice in the past seemed to me a bit weak. When he started to sing "Never forget" yesterday (which by the way was the only live song during that whole Bravo Gala) I just couldn't believe my ears.
Jay was bit silent, might get used to this after such a long time, but I know he can do different I only wish he would show it more often.
So to sum it all up: The appearance was simply amazing, not only did they get the "special" Otto (award), but they also were the last act in the show, which means the one everyone was waiting for during the evening... sort of "special guest stars" *gg* I can't wait to have them back here for a tour, really hope this is going to happen. *keepingfingerscrossed*
Found a picture from yesterday so here we go:
What else was there on the Bravo Gala last night? Not quite much that would have been interesting, only two more acts/persons I was happy to see: Roxette and Pierre Brice.
Though it was quite sad how the moderator treated Pierre Brice, he is such a fine man and someone as experienced in hosting shows as Kai Pflaume should really be able to speak in a way that somebody who's mother-tongue isn't german can understand and respond.
The last race of Michael Schumacher is taking place this evening and I'm still not willing to give up hope that he will win *gg*. We'll see... Until then I really should get back to my books and do some working for Uni...criminal law - interesting ;-)
