Silly Little Tube
After venturing out briefly to attend my brother's first basketball game of the season I decide to run a few errands. One of which included going to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. As I waited for it to be filled I wandered through the makeup section and came across a $0.99 tube of purple lipstick. This particular shade was the same brand and color that I wore in late middle school and early high school. I couldn't help but laugh to myself about it and was half tempted to purchase it out of nostalgia.
Sometimes I miss my adolescence quite a bit since it wasn't long after that my panic attacks became so severe...but I'm finally at the age where the image of my younger self is downright embarrassing. My foray into the whole goth subculture thing (so articulate tonight) was far from graceful. I'm just lucky there aren't any pictures of it thanks to my aversion of them at the time.
