Well, Mommy was reading this book of poems this morning and she read one to me. She said it was in a way about us, and that I should post it for all to see.
How can she hold you,
Then toss you aside?
How can she love you,
Yet keep a gap so wide?
She says that she'll wait
She says that she'll stay
She says that if I leave
She'd cry all day
But she never did think
She never did stop
To remember the second half
Until the day the it dropped
It'll never be the same
Without her by my side
While in life she 's not gone
Her soul is lost in the tide
How could she hold me?
Then toss me aside?
How could she love me?
But keep a gap so wide?

I don't know why, but this really spoke to me. Mommy said it was special, so it must've been.
