lost_land - Challenge #4 - Big Bang - Sun Fanmix - "Absence of Fear"
Another fanmix for Big Bang atlost_land , this one for Sun, centred around the three years off the island with giving birth to Ji Yeon but not having Jin to share her life with.

1: Never Alone by Barlow Girl.
"I cried out with no reply,
And I can't feel you by my side.
So I'll hold tight to what I know
You're here and I'm never alone."
Whilst in labour with her daughter, Sun calls for her husband, hoping somehow he would manage to get to her.
2: Absence of Fear by Jewel.
"Inside my skin there is this space,
It twists and turns,
It bleeds and aches.
Inside my heart there's an empty room,
It's waiting for lightning,
It's waiting for you."
Up at night trying to get a newborn Ji Yeon to sleep; Sun just feels an ache in her heart for her husband.
3: Get Up, Get Up, Get Up by Barcelona.
"Five days after black and red collide,
The motion sickness past, I’ll be the first to stand."
Recovered from her painful delivery of Ji Yeon, Sun is now forced to face a future as a single parent, and is unsure if she'll succeed.
4: Light On My Shoulder by Susie Suh.
"It's easier to fall and harder to stand,
It's easier to cry and harder to laugh,
And I don’t know how, I don’t know why,
But you’re the light on my shoulder."
Ji Yeon has become a source of strength to Sun; as every day she begins to remind her more and more of Jin.
5: Maybe by Kelly Clarkson.
"I'm strong,
But I break.
I'm stubborn,
And I make plenty of mistakes."
Sun knows she isn't perfect, but maybe her mistakes can be redeemed in the way she raises her daughter.
6: Cry In the Dark by Juliana Hatfield - unable to find YT link, song link in zip file.
"This emotion is an ocean,
The waves are getting high.
I'll find an island, call it mine,
I'm swimming for my life."
Sun spends every night weeping for Jin, dreaming of their good life on the island.
7: Mother of God by Patty Griffin.
"I live too many miles from the ocean,
And I'm getting older and odd.
I get up every morning with a black cup of coffee,
And I talk to the mother of God."
As Ji Yeon grows, so does Sun's heartache for Jin.
8: Here With Me by Dido.
"And I won't go,
I won't sleep,
I can't breathe,
Until you're resting here with me.
And I won't leave,
I can't hide,
I cannot be,
Until you're resting here with me."
For three years, Sun has tried to move on with her life; but with a daily reminder of Jin in their daughter; she decides it's time to put her trust in Jack; and go and find her husband.
