Author's Note This flashfic was written for the daily15 challenge, word #730. Which I had fifteen minutes to write the following story. That's why it's a flashfic instead of a regular fic. I'm thinking about continuing this story at sometime, but I don't know when I'll have the time. Anyway on with the story...

Tick-tock went the clock on the wall of the library reminding Kim every second that elapsed into infinity. She still had time to make it to the game if she could just find this one article she needed for her class paper. The clippings of old newspapers flew by the screen as she speed read as fast as she could. That article had to be there. With it she could aced the assignment and hopefully still arrive for the game.
Then she saw the headline she was looking for, "Another Murder in Whitechapel." This was the first reported victim of the canonical five victims of Jack the Ripper. The coup de grâce that Kim was looking for. She quickly copied the information down and hurriedly left the town library.
In only a few minutes she was parking her car near the football field. People were already arriving for the final game of the year. And for her and Ron and the rest of the senior class it was the last game of High School.
“Hey KP you made it!” Ron exclaimed seeing his best friend and girlfriend.
“Yeah, not even Jack the Ripper could make me miss this game.” Kim replied smiling at her boyfriend. She had arrived.
