Nana is kind of like a mom to Timothy. He never had one (canon says he had a dad who got sent to jail, but he went to an orphanage after that so it's safe to assume there's no mom in the picture), and the only mother-figures he ever had were nuns who were busy taking care of 20+ little kids all Timothy's age. He never had the one-on-one he gets with Nana, and he just sucks it up like a sponge. And the tough love Nana gives is just what he needs, too: he would probably walk all over her if she didn't push back haha.

He's also insanely protective of her. If he ever heard about someone giving her shit he would go beat them up or something. But that also means he has trouble talking with Nana, because he doesn't want to hurt her and he's sure that what he's seen would hurt her. (Like with that one talk they had, he only relented because he was emotionally exhausted from finding out the truth of all that literally the same day.) So while he would run to her and pout about little things, he would probably keep the big stuff to himself until he got worn down about it.

Also it would be awesome if he went home with Nana and became a punk rocker. Just sayin'.

It would be insanely awesome. She's totally getting him a leather jacket in camp and teaching him to play :(b If he came home with her, the band would totally take him in and he could be raised around the awesomest band ever and go to all their shows and they would teach him everythingggggg.

What would he say if she did offer?

He would be really, really tempted to go with it. But at the same time, he would be worried about his Innocence turning against him and going 'splody, so he would go back and forth about it for ages before deciding. Ultimately, it would depend on if they left at the same time or not. If they left at the same time, he would go for it, because she's right there to hold his hand and make sure everything was okay. But if they left at different times, he would probably chicken out and go back to his world. Though he would try to find a way to write a letter from the past and leave it somewhere for her to find in her time, just in case they're from the same world but at different times.

...and now I'm tempted to write fic of that. Damn.

What would Timothy think of Ren?

SOB okay I'll link when I'm done ;; Though I've only read a few volumes of Nana so I might not have it down perfect.

Timothy would be torn between liking and hating Ren. On the one hand, he would be a pretty cool guy. On the other, stealing Nana's attention >EEE In the end I think he would be okay with Ren as long as he still got to spend time with Nana sometimes.

What would Nana think if she ended up going to Timothy's world?

She would not be able to cope. At all. She would feel totally useless in Timothy's world. She would have to deal with Timothy getting hurt in fights and she would not be able to. She's actually really weak to her important people getting hurt and it would trigger her crazy breathing fits and amnesia headcase moments. Not to mention there would be no Hachi or her bandmates. She wouldn't be able to accomplish her dream in Timothy's world and ultimately she would probably want to die. Nana's mental state is very delicate and Timothy's world would totally upset the already upset balance she's tried to establish in camp. At least in camp she has a small network of people who try to keep her balanced, but in Timothy's world all she would have is Timothy and I doubt he alone could help her deal.

Nana such a headcase.

Yeah, the 1890s wouldn't be too kind to her :( Though Nana in one of those huge dresses is a funny mental picture.

Okay, so today I got bored and did two super quick, super bad sketches to figure out the clothes. I'll do a non-suck sketch tomorrow now that I know-ish what they'll be wearing.
