Mayu thinking about Hatori... doesn't really happen that often. She's used to being apart from him- that year-span they were in camp together? It was the longest continuous time that they've been in contact with each other. So currently it's like, a return to the status quo: those 2+ years of radio silence. A lot of the time, when she thinks about him, she's thinking about how she's "second-place"- Ayame has precedence, he's had feelings for Hatori forever. With the curse and his duty towards Akito/the family in general, she feels like if she tries to compete against them, she'll lose! And while she has enough flexibility concerning relationships to be somewhat okay being the "other person", she HATES losing, fears being considered inadequate.

However, it's not all dark feelings! There are times that she'll be reminded of him in a happier light, and she'll miss him strongly! It would be worse if she were in 16.2 still, but at this point, she's getting by without him, just like before.

A day in Mayu's camp life! What is her day like?

There are two types of day in Mayu's camp life- work-days, and recharge-days at the end of the month. Let's go with the typical work-day.

In the morning, she wakes up early, gets dressed/washed up. She checks on Momiji, feeds her cat, and heads out for breakfast at the Mess Hall. Then Mayu goes to work at the library, doing book orders or just helping out until lunch. After lunch she either goes back to work, socializes or if something's going on, she checks it out. Then it's dinnertime, and she socializes some more or heads back to the cabin. She'll tidy up the common room, read/use the laptop/play a game with Momiji (she really does like card games), give Daichi a good brushing and other things to wind down before going to bed.

Five of your characters are playing poker. (The others have already lost, let's say) Who'd be the big winner?

It would come down to George and Othello because those two have the best poker faces, for sure. Plus they both enjoy games, lol.

What would be Mayu's dream vacation?

Mayu would love to visit a place with a lot of history, and just roam the city, soaking it all in. I want to say when she's traveled before, there's always been someone with a schedule, hurrying her, so that would not be the plan here. Though visiting a nice beach resort would be a good second choice.

Your characters can return one banned item to use in camp- what would the general consensus be?

Nana - Tampons
Ebi - SUGAR
Momiji- SUGAR
Othello - Macarena, just to be difficult

Tampons would win because Ohno and Nana can be terrifying.

s-sob, I'm one of those players that wishes she could come up with post ideas. (the thesis stomping on my creativity doesn't help at all :() The closest thing I have is species-switching her into an elephant again? Which will happen after my vacation in August, for sure.

My pings... extremely determined and loyal characters- to their friends, to their cause. Characters that have hidden strengths, or are stronger than they appear. Real down-to-earth, "everyman" characters, the level-headed ones, the voices of reason... that's what comes to mind right now.
