I've never tried writing before, but...

The girl inside the mansion sat on her computer, bored, the computer being the only source of light as the curtains were drawn. It seemed to create a sad atmosphere as not even the birds felt like singing.

Oops, I keep forgetting that a lot of people here don't have computers in their world. I'm sorry!

It's, um... A machine that has a lot of cool programs on it and, um... You can go on the internet! Which is... Ah, maybe we should take out the computer part. I-I'm not really good at this sort of thing, I'm really sorry.

She sighed to herself as she glanced at the curtains. Remaining motionless in her seat. Would the day be any different from her usual mundane days? Or was she to continue living the rest of her life in solitary and boredom.

As she watched the curtains, she knew how a bird trapped in a cage felt. She was now one herself. She wondered what would happen if she went outside. Would she be hurt and mocked, or simply ignored? She didn't know what came over her as she walked out of her room and down the long hallway to the front door.

Ah... I always failed my writing assignments.
