018. [VOICE] LATVIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!
I h-had a really strange d-dream last night... but it a-also reminded me of what t-today is... And it's b-been so long since t-the year 1918. I can s-still remember everything.
I wish I c-could say I remember it l-like yesterday but... it's b-best not t-to think about the second w-war. But I haven't forgotten t-the Young Latvians, or their bravery. I'll always remember them a-as if they were standing next to me moments a-ago.
If I h-had a wish today, it w-would be to keep my people safe a-and protected... may grace b-be upon them at home.
I-I also wish I c-could visit the Brīvības piemineklis or the Brāļu Kapi in Riga r-right now... t-they've done so much for me.
