10 days 'til Christmas!
The Christmas countdown has begun! Well, actually, it started a while ago.. I just realized how close it was. And I'm excited. I have to admit, I try to be thinking of why we REALLY celebrate Christmas.. and I'm going to teach my kids about Jesus' birth instead of Santa.. but really, I still get all excited about the thought of presents. I hope I make out like a bandit.
On Monday, 2 of my friends and I are hosting our first annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. We are all very excited. We're even going to have a contest to see who's wearing the ugliest one. It's going to be a blast. *Note to self: remember camera.*
I just realized this week that SoapNet plays reruns of The OC in the afternoons. I'd forgotten how much I liked the show.. maybe because for the last season or so that I watched it, it kind of SUCKED. But the ones I've been watching are post-Marissa, and I think that makes a difference.
Yesterday James and I were both sick and neither of us made it to work.. uck. I'm so glad I'm better today. James took Leslie to go watch one of his brothers wrestle while Xander and I went shopping. (Not for anything important.. we're all done with Christmas shopping.. but I was bored and really needed to get out of the house.)
Wednesday night we went to see "Enchanted" and I think it's one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG TIME. I'm totally going to buy it when it comes out.
