The Wedding of Our Dreams Part VII

Apr 30, 2006 10:50

Cheers!

My Maid of Honor left me in tears!

I don't know why he felt possessed to mention ex-boyfriends...

And then he had me in tears too.

Time to Dance!

First trip around the dance floor as husband and wife, punctuated by a perfectly executed dip.

My father and I taking a very emotional turn on the dance floor to 'Ballerina Girl' by Lionel Richie. I remember when the first few notes of the song came on he gasped. We used to listen to this when I was very little. Bitter-sweet indeed! Meanwhile...

...my husband used this opportunity to chow down! Smart man.

My husband and his mother sharing a tender moment.

This is where my brother just came right up to me and broke down in to crocodile tears.  I was so touched and of course, bawling my eyes out.

The photographer wasn't ready for the bouquet toss, which was sad because it landed squarely in my Maid of Honor's hands. We are all hoping (and some have money on it) that she will be next. So when I had to toss again in the name of a good photograph, sadly, her little sister caught it. As you can see, there was a lot of protest.

I swear to you it wasn't that hard to get off.  The stinker!

Check out the turnout on the guys end!

But who knows! These two could elope!

The cake I was never able to finish. They served it with fresh berries - so good!

Soooo, the story behind this picture...  Those of you who snuck a peek at my knottie bio didn't get the 'full' meaning of this shot.  Laurel, knowing Robert had boudoir shots to look forward to that night, decided to get a 'sexy' one just for me.  The trick was to do it without making my husband too curious as to why this shot.  But I suppose a couple scotch on the rocks made it far easier than she thought, because he gladly obliged.  So when I opened the proof box and got to this one I fell over laughing.  This is my boudoir shot!!  Hahaha!

We sure did!

So there you go!  There were 600 proofs in total which is why I had such a hard time narrowing down what I was going to post.  Obviously I didn't do much narrowing.  And I am sore that our picture scanner didn't do the prints justice.  My Knottie Bio does a far better job with crisper images thanks to Imagestation.  All in all, I am so impressed with Laurel's work.  Now comes the task of picking out what goes on our walls.  And I can't wait to see the custom album she is creating.  I know I promised myself I wouldn't spend $3k on an album, but I have a feeling I am going to be drooling when she shows me.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
