Happy New Year!
And what a busy new year it is. First off, I have a new job. And it's going to be a permanent one! Sure, it's contract to hire, but that works for me. I'm a helpdesk type IT guy and the company I work for provides IT solutions to various businesses. It's exciting. And they're paying for me to get MCSE certified, which isn't a bad deal either. It's a small company as I'm like the fifth full time employee. Woot.
In other news, I'm now engaged to Tiff. I proposed on Dec. 18th with two dozen red roses and a penguin ornament for our Christmas tree (I moved in with her in like... August or September). The plan is to get married in Sept. 08. We'll see how that goes. We've been looking for a ceremony site and a reception hall for the past few weeks. I think we've found ones, though. Crazy, huh?
Other than that, I don't have much of a life. Spending time with family, the new job, and the new fiance have taken up most of my time. I'm lucky if I can get in a couple of hours of Warcraft a week.
