(no subject)
I had the bestest week.
The conference I ran on Monday and Tuesday went super well. The VP from Atlanta came to assess part of it, and he is thrilled with the improvements. He was so excited about it he went and told my director how pleased he was with it and with me. That was a big win. I have to agree though, it really did go very well. But, I'm glad I don't have to run that sucker again til next spring.
From Wed to Fri, I accomplished a-freakin'-lot...so much I was pretty damn surprised with myself. I'm back in a good place again, feeling like I've got an excellent handle on things. In a few projects, I'm even ahead. I love it when I have non-stressful productive weeks. And..I even managed to get out most days on time or earlier, and went out for a 2 hr lunch on Wed. (the bosses were out. R and I went shopping.) Life is good.
To end it off, I got the best news...S gets the job. I mean, it really couldn't get any better than that.
But it does.
The weather this weekend is amazing. Spring is definately on it's way delivering to us 10C today and 16C tomorrow. I went downtown this morning to do some shopping. I finally got a chance to break in my leather jacket, and also realized, I have lost a bit more weight (yesssssss). I got to buying things i've been needing to get for awhile. I even bought a Shamrock plant! It was so cute...I had to have it. I really hope I don't kill it.
Tomorrow I have another shopping trip planned...this time, local in the neighbourhood. I think I just may buy myself a bouquet of flowers to start bringing spring into my place. =)
