Had a good weekend,
was a crappy week last week, during which everyone was great to me, as always having friends rocks.
Notable mentions go to:
spoondoom for putting up with erratic lifts and irritable snowys.
people I work with for not just throttling me, but none of them read this anyway.
All of the glorious peoples republic for saying encouraging things like, go home and sleep, you muppet.
Copper13 for being a surprise masseuse, when I could really use one.
Weekend started by me getting drunk in very pleasant circumstances with ribenademon, nolivejournalmatt and viclet. followed by an invasion by uberluggage, albevan, ciderclaus, taffdan and pat. Ate honeyed duck drank wine, drank gin and tonic, went to faceoff, was fun.
didn't wake up till past midday on saturday, everyone was mean to me just because I had stolen luggages hand bag and wouldn't wake up to give it back. Anyway once they'd gone I steamed several pints of alcohol out of me in the bath and got to clare and daves in time for kick off (just), ciderclaus commentary was as ever impressive and informative (I learnt new swear words).
Spent rest of day watching tv including all the torchwoods so far, not bad.
Sunday consisted of shopping for presents for my lovely girlfriends birthday present. (this weekend coming)
then watching fireworks with ali, lex, vic and a mcgregor (who bought me a pint)
all in all a pretty good weekend.
Did very little alternate flat hunting, but made tentative start on it. Dawsons however suck.
This week seems to be shaping up ok so far, boss didn't explode about last week, we shall see, he has yet to sit down and read the whole mess.
off to emmas this weekend, then on a course developing my "personal effectiveness" scary huh? all next week, near birmingham (ashorne hill).
