Over the past week, I've spent about $800+ dollars on getting set up in the appartment. All of it was security deposits, application fees, helping out my buddy with rent, etc. And I've got to pay rent on July 1st. My parents also said that they wouldn't help me out any more than they have. The truth is that I have lost perspective and I thought that they owed it to me. Or maybe I just get aggravated when they tell me that the money they've given me is for rent and food and "everything," which I guess includes all the money that I had to spend on the security deposit.
All I know is that I've got a much, much better father now than when I was born. It was all taken care of before the whole issue even arose because my buddy laura, who's living with us, wanted to pay part of rent. so I'm good. Or I guess, actually, God is. ;)
