Back from Roma, Ready to go home-a!

Just got back from Rome. As a vacation spot, it's fun to visit, full of life and history, but honestly I found it kind of seedy. It doesn't have the romance and charm that Florence, or heck even Venice has. Maybe I've just been in Italy too long, and maybe 5 course meals and forward fashion aren't winning me over like they did back when I got here. The Hard Rock didn't even have Caesar Salad! (and I've been craving that for MONTHS...so much for American cuisine). But seeing and hearing Sean sing in St. Peters in the Vatican, heck just being in Mass in the Vatican was just awe-inspiring. Also, we got to see the Pope's blessing from a rooftop terrace in the Vatican City (pays to have connections to the Catholic Church)

I didn't get to do as much such sightseeing as I wanted to, considering the weather was really overcast, cold and often rainy. But I threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, so that means I'll be back someday.

I also had the most memorable bubble bath I've ever had...let's just say it's resembled an overflowing washing machine.

It's photos like this that make me hope he gets better someday...and that maybe he will. And that some day way down the line, we will be truly happy, without any cracks in the seams. And yet, I don't know when that will be.

I am a little stressed out about my History exam. It's a lot of notes, and our whole grade basically just depends on this test...so *gulp*

I go home in FOUR DAYS. Wow.
