I watched The Last Samurai last night.

It was very good.

Very good.

The soundtrack alone makes me cry.

Anyway, on to other things. I got the first draft of our script done. Read the PDF if you want to. The writer of my group decided she wasn't going to email me any of what she had written over the weekend, so I just wrote it all myself.

I have to meet with my rabbi this morning and tell her I'm going to hold off the conversion for a while. I'm a little nervous, but I know she'll understand.

Hopefully in the next few days I will have movie reviews for I Heart Huckabees, The Motorcycle Diaries, and Ray up on my website. I saw them all in theaters quite recently. I can tell you right now that The Motorcycle Diaries and Ray are getting rave reviews, while I Heart Huckabees will probably be my first 3-out-of-5 rated movie.

I also watched Anchorman this weekend. It had some golden one-liners in it, and was overall pretty damn funny. Too long though.

And I watched Finding Forrester yesterday, which I had never seen before. (Man, I watch a lot of movies. But that's okay.) Holy cow, was that ever good. Like The Last Samurai, it's one we owned on DVD already that I had just never taken the time to watch. I'm a little pissed I never watched it sooner.

Okay, showertime. Catch all you cats on the flipside.
