On Tumblr one post made the rounds today that left my heart all aflutter and was responsible for me spontaneously bursting into tears while I was on my way back home from the grocery store and made the mistake of really thinking about this.

Apparently someone was blessed with a set visit and gave a report later, which included a chat with Scott Williams, one of the writers and producers. This was the passage that had us all agape:

Scott spoke about subtext and how important it is. As a writer you never want to come right out and say certain words. For example, Star Wars. There’s one scene where Han Solo is saying goodbye to Princess Leia. She says “I love you” and his response is “I know.” This was done on purpose, and if you follow the characters you will understand that he is actually saying “I love you too.”

Scott is listed as one of the writers for "Shiva". And that was an intentional reference. And, based on this quote, it may have meant even more than what was actually said. *sobs*
