However, it doesn't mean that the person has to keep putting himself in the way of the person who needs the forgiving, especially if the person seems to have no remorse. So I think that while Tony can still have a relationship with his father, he can keep his distance, like he has been, and be wary. Obviously his dad is not aware of a need to change, so he won't. The only things that Tony can do is either have nothing else to do with him, and that would be a hard decision to make since he's his only living relative at this point. Or he can do what he is doing while being cautious and not expecting anything different.
There are things I didn't like about the plot with Senior, but the main thing I didn't like, like Sammy, is Tony saying "I blew it" there in MTAC. I wish that they had written Gibbs -or Ziva-to say "No, you didn't. You did exactly what you should have done- he's the one that blew it." That one thing would have made it realistic to me.

But I do agree with you, tonyfan31970. It will be better for Tony to forgive and then not spend much time with his father in the future.
