'Gunless', first impressions

Generally, I have no love for Western. In fact, if there is one single movie genre I could do without, it's the Western.

Gunless is probably the only exception to that. It's whimsical, it's lovely, it made me cry (quite a bit), and it's utterly charming. It has awesome, unexpected humor, of the Canadian variety. And it has Paul Gross, who apparently does get better with age. It also has Paul's man-hands. *sighs* And Callum Keith Rennie, who was also absolutely gorgeous in it. And Bloopers at the end. And two people in love who don't do the whole confessions routine. And it's just so nice.

I have deep, mad love for that movie, and I heartily recommend it to all who usually (like me) wouldn't touch a Western with a ten-foot pole. Pretty sure you'll love it.
