EXO Part I
Hello, since it's been a while since I've updated my lj, I thought of starting to update again. Trying to type down everything I've witnessed or seen or fangirling about, I am going to start with what I've been recently doing. And that is listening to K-Pop and watching K-dramas. I am going to start with the K-Pop part first. This will take up to a few parts (I'm not sure how many parts though), so here's the 1st part of my K-Pop obssession.
So, I've noticed a lot of new boyband/group and/or new artists in SME (which stands for Suriname in my country, but in S-Korea, it stands for S(oo)M(an)E(ntertainment). Anyways... I don't know where to start or what to say, but it's been like 10 years or something since I've been into the K-Pop stuff. Wow, time really does fly. Never thought I'd be into K-Pop stuff for such a long time and still going on with it.
It started from all the way H.O.T. and NRG-time till recently, EXO-M and EXO-K and B.A.P. now. Not that I'm a totally saesaeng fan or how you call those extreme 'crazy' fans (please,have mercy on me. Don't mean to hurt you people by saying it like this. It's not supposed to sound negative or anything). It's just recently my sister has been telling me into which boyband she is in now and how amazing, cute, adorable, funny, OMG jailbait!, cool etc., they are. So, she let me see some new vids and stuff. And apparantly, because I've watched this drama called "To the Beautiful You", and heard this "careless, careless, shoot anonymous, anonymous, mindless, mindless, no one who cares about me..." (or was the last part "heartless, heartless"?)-singing part, my mind was like "oh!, I've heard this before. Oh really!! They were cameo-ed in there too? Back then and still,I am not even sure what they actually sung. (sorry about this messed up part, exotics. I don't mean to provoke or hurt anyone with saying the wrong song lines, because apparently, I don't know the lyrics, yet)
After that, my sister showed me a lot of EXO stuff to me. From their pictures to shows, to songs, teasers and everything that has got to do with EXO. And because they are divided in 2 groups actually (Chinese & Korean), I couldn't make out who was who. And because EXO-M has more variety shows and stuff, she showed me that first, I think. I don't even remember how it started or where it started that she taught me who was who in EXO-M. Maybe because most of them are Chinese in EXO-M. I guess that was the reason. Anyways, after a lot of explaining and pictures, I still couldn't make out who was, until I watched some of their shows where they introduced themselves and stuff. And slowly, I learned their names and their funny sides. But then came the part where she let me see both the two groups together and I was like o_o and @_@. Who is who again? I could only make out who Tao and Kris were. Because... They look more different than the rest of the group. And what caught my attention was, Tao introduced himself as "Kung Fu Panda Tao".... and panda is one of my favourites out of the whole animal kingdom, so Tao stuck to me the whole time. What was totally attracting was his eyes. They really lookd like Panda-eyes... Sometimes I wonder if his eyes really are like that, or is it because in the stardom, they have to literally overwork themselves, that he got those panda eyes... Hard to say...
The next thing that stuck to me was, when you look at Tao's face on the side, he reminds me of ZhouMi from Super Junior M. Really, Zhou Mi has a somewhat long-face which is quite sexy....but of course I can be wrong too...or my eyes just see different things compared to what other people see. And sometimes, he makes me think of leader LeeTeuk from Super Junior. But then again, Tao has his own charms which attracted me in someway I can't explain. During their interviews and shows, Tao seemed to be a shy boy at first, but once that mouth of his opens, I saw a total different side of him, which is, of course, a good thing. Tao should get some more attention too! Haha, Tao-bias now,hihihi....
