i had the most excruciatingly long facial in my whole life thus far earlier tonight.
it lasted a grand total of 2 hours and 45 minutes and my face looks like a warzone now, not to mention my bladder almost burst.
on the way home i was surfing the internet about whether facials are actually good for us and some very mixed reviews came up.
good to extract blackheads, whiteheads, but not good to overdo it?
being in the medical line i guess has increased the level of my skepticism towards healthcare over the past few years, and this is even spilling over to facials now.
i remember when young, doctors were THE respectable people and everything they said or advised was akin to godsent wisdom.
but these days i dwell in uncertainty, the need to know for sure by logic and by experience has become mandatory; no more empty buying and believing.
this by no means is bad, perhaps just part of growing up and breaking out of the bubble that i might have once lived in.
