Its official....I wont be coming home over Spring break because Im going to New Orleans to help with the Common Grounds Relief for that week..and I could not be more excited....I mean, I figure, everyone will be in school during break and since I dont have a car or a job, then Ill just be sitting at home eating and watching tv and doing nothing productive, and Ive always wanted to do something like this and feel like im really makeing a difference.
So Im gonna spend a week bunking in a giant ass church with bunches of MCLA people of awesomeness and other people with Common Ground
and I cant wait
The only issue so far is money so the group is organizing a ton of fundraisers and stuff...so if anyone knows any cheap but successful fundraising ideas please let me know....
