I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm a neat freak, I mean not OCD neat, but almost. & I go to some of my friend's houses & it smells like beer & disgusting shit & the dishes are stacked high, & it's just...uh. & it makes me NOT want to have a room mate ever. I wish I could just afford my own place, even if it's as big as just a living room. I don't want to ever have to deal with that. If you have a house, you should definitely be ready to take care of it. My Mom use always make me clean which I HATED when I was little, but now appreciate. & I can understand sometimes with being messy with clothes & stuff, but food & that nature, EW! That's just..Uh. I read this & just felt your pain & frustration because I'm not even in a situation like that & it already makes me never want to leave my room hahaha. But I'm sure you'll find someone to move in with you that will get what you need in a room mate<3

I love cleaning, although I don't always feel like I want to clean... I'll clean up the common area at the VERY least because that's where there's people, and that's where EVERYONE goes. My room, not so clean... but that's my room, and it's not the living room or something.
