Gen and I just got back from our day in Philly. We got to see some of the historic sights (namely the Liberty Bell) and we toured South Street for a few hours. I dropped a good bit of money there, but came away with some nice things: green Adidas shoes, a tin Guiness sign for Slick & Red's, a Frank Sinatra poster, a mock Phillies t-shirt that reads "Philthy", some pants from The Gap, and a Brooklyn Brewery pint glass. Not a bad days worth of shopping. Philadelphia was cool enough. It smelled like a toilet, though.
Our little vacation has pretty much come to an end. We leave for Wilmington tomorrow morning. We're going out to eat tonight with a couple of Gen's friends from highschool and that will pretty much bring everything to a close. The North is cool, but I'm ready to get back to the filthy-dirty that I call home.
