(no subject)
It's been many moons since I waited up for a child to come home. A 12 yr. old no less. Brennan is staying with me for a few days. He was at a Twins game last night. Got here close to midnight after the game. You would think that since I have a couple days off I would sleep in, heck no. My body was still wide awake at 5:30 this morning.
Today I let him sleep in a bit. The game plan is for today to possibly eat lunch out. Not sure yet. Tonight we go to the Theatre to see "Red,White & tuna." It is a comedy about Tuna, Texas and all the parts are played by 2 actors. I hope it is as funny as "Greater Tuna" was a few years ago.He should like it though. We might even get in a tour of a candy factory this weekend.
Since Brennan broke his arm a couple weeks ago we can't do a lot of the summer things we would normally do together like play ball or go swimming or even go down to the water falls and run around in that. Have some plan B's but will also have to "just wing it" till Sunday when we go see a Twins Game with John & Deb. I can't even get the kid to mow my lawn as he has a cast on and can't hold on to the lawn mower. Good news is that the cast comes off the 1st day of school he says.
