(no subject)
today is election day for village and county positions. I am glad. In the past several days I have been swamped with phones calls "reminding me" to vote and who to vote for. I just love running to get the phone for recorded messages etc. At least now they will stop interupting me.
Yesterday was a relaxing R&R day for me. Didn't get everything but that's the way it goes. Kohls does not carry my size shoe so they didn't get my $, found the bread store outlet but what they had was not what I had in mind (unwrapped bread just sitting on shelves & no signs as to what it was) The only sign was to ask you to please use a piece of paper to pick up your bread loaf. PetSmart was out of business in Fridley. Did get to Sam's Club and found most of what I was looking for and ran into someone from St. Croix Falls in the process. Visited with Daughter in law for a few minutes when I dropped off granddaughters b/d gift. Went looking for a lawn mower too. Couldn't find the brand I wanted but after checking out Lowes, Menards, Fleet Farm, Tractor Supply, Walmart, Target, etc. I finally purchased one at Home Depot. Hopefully this one will last a few years. The highlight of the day was stopping at Country Buffet for lunch. That is always nice. Even they didn't have the items I was craving though. I did manage to get everything unloaded from the car and put where it needed to be put. All that is except the lawn mower. That box is still in the trunk. I need to back the car up to the garage tonight and take it out. Was too tired after getting everything else unloaded and put away.
Ahh - spring is in the air-- I am looking forward to some real nice weather this week even if I have to work- I can still manage to get outside a little bit during the day.
