(no subject)
It has been a day. Yesterday afternoon my fax/copier went berserk just as one of our more high maintenance customers tried to send me an ad. Tech came just before lunch today and repaired it. Called Cust. got ad. then his credit card refused to go thru. It has been in his file for a long time and never a problem. machine kept saying expired. The guy had already reactivated the new card. Nothing - 4 hours later& still trying I was finally able to speak to a "live person" at c.card company. Turns out there have been several "Oops" lately when people call in to reactivate their cards and it just sorta freezes them. Made decision to send ad thru as a paid one so it would be sure to get in paper. Finally got hold of cust. and explained to him what I did and why. He was not as upset as I thought he would be. Will go to bank in a.m. and let them get it figured out. If it is still frozen he will personally come in to office and pay me cash. Usually he is not this nice - very strange.
When co-worker was 20 minutes late this morning I called her house. Hubby did the "oh, she is in the hospital". He never bothered to call me. I did talk to her later in the day and will drop her check off up at the hospital on my way to work tomorrow morning. That way she can have a copy of the paper besides. She hasn't had to have one of these trips in months. We were just talking about it a couple days ago. Jinxed her I guess.
Last night I went to bed and slept close to 10 hours but I am still dead tired tonight. Think I will be in bed real soon again. Just being out & about late one night will do that to me. Being at home and staying up late is o.k. but being out is not for some reason.
