nice things happened too

we have had nice things happen too though lately. A long time customer called yesterday to get the proper spelling of our last names. He has written some kind of Cancer book and somehow we are being mentioned in it. He said it would be out in Jan. and he would send us a copy but that is all he said. It must be that we support him. We get on Caring

Okay, so now I'm reminded of a resident that I believe I posted about a time or 2. EVERYTHING confused this poor woman...the very simplest of tasks needed to be explained like I was speaking to a 2-year-old. Every time I'd see her come to the window I could feel my blood pressure go up. And then one day she thanked me for my patience. Told me that with all the ailments she suffered from, she just couldn't remember anything anymore and it really frustrated her. Made me feel very small for getting so irritated with her. After that, my patience with her grew exponentially, and it never bothered me again. Sadly, she died just a few weeks after that.

Point being, you're such a compassionate soul, and that's becoming so rare in society. One never knows what a person is going through, and what causes their attitude. Compassion and patience can really go a long way. I hope things get easier for you at work.
