nice things happened too
we have had nice things happen too though lately. A long time customer called yesterday to get the proper spelling of our last names. He has written some kind of Cancer book and somehow we are being mentioned in it. He said it would be out in Jan. and he would send us a copy but that is all he said. It must be that we support him. We get on Caring Bridge and get updates on his condition etc. He stopped in last week just to say hello as he was passing by too.
We also had a regular customer stop in yesterday and ask if we like venison steaks. He said he wants to bring us some for all the bullshit we take from him all year.
A couple weeks ago had a real high maintenance lady in 2 days in a row. At the end of the 2nd visit she took my hand and with tears in her eyes she thanked me for being so patient and compassionate with her and blessed me. I mean making the sign of the cross and everything.
So life is not all that bad. It is just that it is yearly review time and Kim never gives good reviews and now she had more to complain about. With this economy we all worry about our jobs. It made for a real downer of a day and evening yesterday. I still have a headache. Life will go out but I hate it when she is always on my back about something.
