(no subject)
well, I called about 10:45 to see if they got my car done (parts were to come in last night, then they called and said this a.m.) Turns out the parts truck never arrived today so They now expect to get the stuff Monday. I have a Caravan as a courtesy car till then though. He kept saying how sorry he was. They will bring my car directly to the office for me when it is done. I do not have to go up and get it. I can either pay the driver or go up after work Monday and pay the bill, my choice.
Took Brennan to his church's "Harvest Carnival" last night. That is kinda nice, all under one roof. $2 gets you in an all the games and candy you want. I mean they have "Candy." Play any game and grab hands full of candy. I watched. They had special people just keeping the 5 gallon Candy buckets full of candy at each game. There were games for all ages as well as a maze, a scary swamp and a couple of popcorn pits where kids could crawl and roll in popcorn. Lots of door prizes too. Security was very tight and parents were matched up with wrist bands and numbers. No kid could get out the door without a matching numbered parent. A friend of Brennan's family talked him into helping with the milk bottle game for a while so she could go eat. He had a real good time. We ran into his aunt and uncle who were their with their little ones (these are the people he is staying with right now). His mom had gotten out of the hospital in the afternoon so she was even there for a while. I saw her wandering around. She did stop and say hello to Brennan but then just kept wandering.
This morning we slept in, and ate out and that is when we checked on my car. Went to a garage sale but nothing there. They had just closed it down. sold most of the stuff yesterday I guess.
We are now killing a little time until we head for the movies. He wants to see H.S. Musical 3. Me, I think I will try and nap through it if it sound isn't too loud. Not my thing really, but you do a lot of things out of love.
