played hooky
I am playing hooky today. I called co-worker last night and got her to work all day today so I could stay home and get better. I just wanted 1 more day to rest up and feel better.
Spent most of the day taking it easy and doing a few odds and ends around the house. Moved a couple more summer items to the garage and brought in the ice bite, moved my knitting yarn totes to the upper sun porch to make more room in the spare room. Soon it will be time to bring down the Xmas totes and I wanted room for them. Didn't do much else though. Gathered the trash and got it outside to the big trash can. I did sit and do some knitting though and may do some more shortly but now I hope to curl up on the couch and rest some more. Made a trip out and got a taco salad for lunch but never finished it all. Way too much to eat. Maybe I can work on it again later. I am feeling much better and not sneezing as much and nose is not as snotty as it was over the weekend. Congestion is going away, hurray for me. Mostly I just wanted to sleep the whole weekend. My worst day was Friday when I was at work and couldn't leave.
