just got home. Took a friend's 11 yr. old daughter to see the stage production of Arsenic and Old Lace. Wasn't sure if she would get the humor but I wanted her to see a professional play. She acts in community theater here in Osceola. We had lunch down at a local coffee house that we both like and then up to St. Croix Falls to Festival Theatre. Had about 15 minutes to kill so I took her into "Sit a Spell" book store where she found about 3 used books she wanted. Then we just walked the half block to the theatre. I think she did enjoy the play and I introduced her to one of the actors (my friend Marilyn) afterwards. She says she likes the "Christmas Story" about little Ralphie and the Red Rider BB gun so I may give her tickets for that if I have any left. I still am taking my co-worker and some of her family to see Arsenic before it closes in a couple of weeks. I have seen several renditions of the play before as well as the famous Cary Grant movie of it. It is a cute play. Now I have to figure out what I want to fix for supper. I am not even hungry though.
