Beach Adventures pt 2
Had a lovely day at the beach today. Hachinohe Beach is small, but the sand was really nice.
However , I forgot it was a Sunday when I agreed to go out and ended up missing the last bus home....which is at 7:42pm (8:40pm on Saturday). At first I was like, `drats, gonna have to take a taxi and pay an arm and a leg (- would have run me a man, like 125usd to take a taxi)` but I remembered there`s an internet cafe next door to my local figure shop, so I figured wth, this isn`t the first time I`ve slept in an internet cafe.
So here I am....in an internet cafe >>. The night pack runs 1200yen...for six hours. I asked what happens after 6 hours, and apparently it costs 450yen each hour after that, so if I want to stay here until 6:30 and take the first bus home, it`s gonna run me like, 2800yen. Still, sooooo much cheaper than taking a taxi or getting a hotel, so I can deal. I have to pay a one time membership fee of 300yen too, but if this happens again, at least I`m covered.
It`s nbd, but I forgot to wash my limited work clothes, so I`m gonna have to slum it in work tomorrow and hope I can get away with wearing my khakis twice on one wash.
Also, still in my swim suit....so that`s kinda annoying as well. But, whatevs.
