(no subject)
today is a day off.... it's what i needed. so i'm super excited! it's my mommy's birthday today and i'm taking her out for dinner tonight! I seriously got her the biggest gift i've ever gotten her before and i'm really excited to see her reaction when she gets it! I guess you just realize that moms do ALOT! i mean they work, they clean, they make sure we're doin ok...etc....that's alot to juggle and I love my mom for it soo much!
let's see - wrote a new song on tuesday night after marks lesson! it was one of those times where like i didn't even have to think about the words - like they just came. Alot of it based off of mark's lesson at frontline at tuesday night - i don' tknow - it was just really cool!
i'm supposed to be cleaning the house right now but i'm bored and i'm very easily distracted so i'm "takin a break" maybe i'll go play some guitar for a while!
anyways, there really isn't to much to say for me. well i suppose there actually is - alot of things are changing for me. big changes and thigns that i normally wouldn't do! let's see - um i put in my two weeks notice at work last monday so this wednesday is my last day there. it really had nothing to do with working there it was more so that i just don't have time for things anymore. i work til late then i'm up late doin homework and then i go to bed and wake up at the crack of dawn to go to whatever commitment i have for stuff at school that day. it stinks! seriously!! so my boss, claudia, already offered me a job back for the summer and told her i could probably help her around the holiday season if she needs any extra help just incase! I just wanted to make sure that she understood that i wasn't leaving for store reasons at all!
secondly, i'm not doing the musical this year! It very different, but it's ok. Honestly part of had to do with the fact like the JCP thing that i just don't have time to add anything else into my schedule and then most of it was that honestly if i do musical that cuts alot of the time that i have at Frontline and SWAT. God has really been answering prayers with me and SWAT kids - i really wanted to get to know them really well and it's happening. As i prayed about what to do (musical or no musical) I really just felt like God was leading me to stay with SWAT and learn how to do ministry with them more. So I'm going to heading off to Youth Specialties in Nashville, TN the weekend that the musical is going! So that way that'll really help me learn how to minister and be with those jr. high kids! seriously those kids are awesome and i'm having a blast with them!
so that's my life right now! i'm very broke but doin great! God has been teachin me alot and my passion for music/worship has been growing and growing! I have a few other things goin on right now but i'm keeping my mouth shut on those until something comes through!
anyways, life is good.......ETERNAL LIFE IS BETTER!... haha! :) have a great day to all who read this!
