No, it's just that Finnish strawberries are the only stuff to go with the flavour and such - they beat other strawberries 6-0. I never buy anything else than Finnish strawberries, that is to say my strawberry season isn't too long. *pout*

*chuckles* just noticed you're talking about 'strawberries'. all the time i talked about raspberries...but that surely doesn't make a difference here?

anyways, i got what you mean with the flavour and such. it really is different if in season in your own region *nodsnods* i become all gaga when the blueberry season starts and you can go get them right off the fields and...those are SO delicious!! *___*

*laugh* It's about the same, yes, although I'm not crazy about raspberries in general, and not nearly as anal about their origins as I am with strawberries. x)

I remember when I was a kid and lived in the middle of nowhere. It was always the best no matter what berry season to just run into the woods and eat them right off the ground/bushes/whatever. And how this makes me sound so primal. xD

naaah, it doesn't make you sound primal. it's one of the good sides living in the middle of nowhere, right? when i was a kid during summer holidays my parents sent me to austria - into the middle of nowhere as well - and maaaan there have been entire 'fields' of berries - blueberries at that time. and huge ones too!! so i can totally understand how cool that must have been *nodsnods* :3
