Yah man. I just went back to your entry and saw YX's mr mr sun. The last time for some reason I couldn't watch it. Did you teach YX to draw it or did she learn it in school? 'Cos that's the way we were taught to draw suns, but in cartoons and books they're not usually drawn like that.

I didn't teach her.. cos I can't draw for nuts... my hubby says the way I draw house is very primitive.. :D Like Emma's artwork in school, What YX brought back are usually craft stuff... no drawing. She just started doodling like that one day and we are all amazed.

Her school did teach her how to grip a pencil and also practice tracing circles/lines etc but that's about it. all her drawings are done at home.. nvr seen any from school.

Haha. I can't draw for nuts too! But wow, at least she enjoys the art classes! I doubt Emma will be quietly engaged for more than five minutes. She'd rather be running around anytime.

Hiya, I'm Mandy's friend and she introduced me to your blog. I love Emma's pictures. My son Ryan has never ever drawn people before. Every parent is a collector of their child's artwork, so I can see why you want to photograph them as keepsakes. :)

Hi there! Any friend of Mandy's is a friend of mine :) Yes you're right, my mum once showed me some drawings my sis and I did when we were little, which she'd kept, and those are so precious! Ryan loves art, doesn't he?
