Bran K. Vaughan is really cool. He seems to be making progress in media in the subtle, integrated way that I always wish gay characters on TV and in movies would be portrayed. He gets extra points for being a straight, married man who incorporates a queer story arc into ever one of his mainstream books, even the one geared toward younger audiences. He even does it in an entirely believable and non-awkward, non-soap boxing, non-salacious way.
