Sorry if I've been kind of MIA recently!
For those of you on twitter, you'd probably know that my house got flooded just recently. ;o; It leaked through all the way from the third floor to the first! Thankfully, my room was spared, but it was really tiring to have been woken up at 5:40 in the morning to try and dry things. :< Most of us got some minor injuries too :x But we managed to get it all cleaned up within two hours or so, so all we need to do now is hope that the insurance covers everything, and most of our electronic stuff is fine. :o
A picture of the second floor! It doesn't look so bad, but the water was the most obvious in this one. :x The first floor was the worst! We collected about two buckets full of water from wringing the cloths and everything @_@ I'm just glad the room I share with my sister didn't get affected, or all our stuff would have been drenched. ;__;
Sad to say, though, the flood didn't reach any of my homework and I have no excuse not to do them! D: And I didn't get an injury serious enough to miss jogging periods/PE, so... ;___; I wonder if messed up sleeping patterns can be considered as a reason...? xD
