For the love of toast!
Received a letter in the mail today from local big hospital all my doctors are affiliated with notifying me that my GI doc and associates will no longer be with said big hospital. This, less then two weeks after my colonoscopy and trial on steroids. I'm so annoyed I could spit.
Really?! He couldn't have mentioned this before I started new meds? Now I've got to scramble on Monday to try and find a new doc from their list, knowing that most aren't taking new patients and I've got limited time before my RX runs out. I hate building these types of doctor patient relationships, in some ways, I feel my GI issues are more private than my angry uterus and it really takes a lot to trust someone in these matters so to be expected to find a new doctor like I'm selecting out of a phone book is very disconcerting.
