it's 2008, huh?
finally.
it had been a long 2007, but a pretty nice one, all in all.
i wish i had the eloquence and wit, or whatever it is, to sum it all up neat-and-tidy, but i don't (not right now). besides, you were there, too.
i'm finally relaxing a little. i'm excited for this year; we're all going to do so much.
a taste of the plan:
-shave my head. yes. i will.
-graduate high school, anyone?
-travel a lot this summer, albeit mostly with the family.
-move to new york (ihopeihopeihope) and begin college
-strengthen the friendships that i can, allow myself to let go of those that i can't
-read twice as much as i did last year
but right now: it's so good to have my darling here with me. it's SO good to just do nothing, to just sleep, to just drive around, to just be. i'm already dreading having to let him go away again, but to quote Daddy Coleman (Tom, not Tommy): "It's a marathon, not a race." so i have to remember that he's certainly going to be around (figuratively, if not literally) for quite some time.
2008: good friends, good eats, good stuff. here's to ya.
