*A pox on Keurig for making a super fast, utterly perfect coffee maker, as I have been drinking way more delicious coffee that I've ever had before.
*Also, for those who are not on Facebook (and those that are, but want more explanation), I wanted to share
this with you as well.
It sprung from a thread on a message board I frequent.
A poster was trying to demonstrate that drawing of anthropomorphic animals does not automatically equal "icky furry" art and drew the moa in a waistcoat.
Then another poster picked up on it and went with their own similar drawing of the dodo. From there it expanded into quite a few fabulous drawings, all based on extinct birds.
There is now the website, which will eventually have all the drawings up, as well as talk of a possible children's book.
* while it may not be to everyone's taste, I highly recommend three webcomics I have recently discovered (well two I recently discovered, and one I re-discovered).
First is
Lackadaisy, a webcomic about a speakeasy during Prohibition who's characters happen to be anthropomorphic cats.
Great fun, but doesn't seem to update very often.
Then there is
Weapon Brown, which takes Charlie Brown and recreates him as a post-apocalipse warrior, along with many other newspaper comic characters. It's very violent, but pretty good.
Last one is
Lovecraft is Missing, which is actually pretty self explanatory in it's title.
