No sleep for the wicked.

I'm entering day seven of my ten-day run of work. I feel like a pansy compared to my mom that works ten-day runs, but instead of eight-hour day shifts, she has twelve-hour night shifts. And she's freakin' 55. I'm only 23, I should be full of energy and whatnot. Guess it's time to change some habits, namely getting some workouts in. Apparently, our store has a corporate account with LA Fitness down the road for an insanely great price so I'll probably sign up once I make sure there's room in my budget for that. Well, screw my budget, if I don't start working out on a regular basis, my body will hate itself by the end of the year. My breakfast bars will catch up with me sooner or later.

My news is late, but I got promoted at work. Although this wasn't my ideal job to have after graduating, I'm having a whole heck of a lot of fun doing what I do. The money isn't amazing, but I won't complain. It could be worse. Once I get the hang of things again, I might try to run a little somethin' somethin' on the side, but it probably won't be launched until late this year or next year. My parents are giving me money to take some online classes for web programming and design so I'll probably work on that before I start up anything design-wise.

Speaking of my parents, they are back from Thailand bearing many gifts. I didn't pay attention to my mom when she was listing off what she got us because she did a good job of calling me during one of the very few TV shows I try to catch every week - how's that for a loving daughter, haha. They actually happened to be "in the neighborhood" the other day and drove an extra half hour or so to visit me at work. And by visit, I mean like spend 15 minutes with me and then drive 90 minutes back to Stephenville, haha. The Chantanapummas are odd people.

Welp, I have some crazy training thing tomorrow which I'm sure will be four hours of me finding different ways to keep myself awake and then some hours at "the office." And by office, I mean large warehouse with lots of electronics and people. It's nice to be on the home stretch to my little four-day weekend. Lubbock, watch out, Nina is doing nothing but relaxing soon. I swear I will uppercut anyone who wants any tech help during the weekend. I'm serious! Punch to the face!
