Okay, so maybe I suck at traveling. But I've decided that within the next five years, I want to hit the west. Not the desert. I want to hit California, maybe Washington, and definitely Oregon. If you've read any of Don Miller's stuff, he does a great job of redefining the Christian life as well as making Oregon sound like the real "Land of Enchantment." (I've been to New Mexico several times. I have yet to be enchanted there.)
"Could you leave Texas?" he asks.
"Maybe. It would be tough to leave my family and all. But I suppose I could if I found a nice place."
"You will like Oregon," he says.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Why is that?" I question.
"You've never seen true beauty, have you?"
